The Agile Thinking Manifesto

How to Thrive in this Time of Complexity, Change and Opportunity

  1. Short-term solutions and quick fixes won't make it over the long haul.
  2. If you can make sense of what's going on around you, you're already ahead of the game.
  3. Actions speak louder than words - but words spoken loudly can be awfully convincing. Try not to be fooled.
  4. Observe the results of your decisions and correct. Repeat but do it better.
  5. The risks of poor decisions are real and the decisions you make have consequences.
  6. Whatever your profession, get really good at it if you want to be able to ask better questions and understand the answers.
  7. Be conscious that we cannot thrive without a compassionate and stable society.
  8. It’s not all about you. Work constructively as an individual and in teams to make better decisions.
  9. Add value in your interactions with others.
  10. Be a guardian of our planet if you want it to be around for the future.
  11. Stakeholder success will drive shareholder return, not the other way around.
  12. Look for the value in other people's opinions to enrich your own thinking.
  13. Critical thinking isn't only about logic. Pay attention to emotions to understand their impact.
  14. We're all subject to bias and spin but don't let it get in the way of seeking the truth.
  15. Commit to building your 21st Century Skills in yourself and others: critical thinking, technology fluency, global awareness, business smarts and communication.

Think Better. Act Smart.
